Tadahiro Nomura is one of the most famous judo competitors in Japan. He is the only judoka in the world who has won three Olympic gold medals in a row, all in the extra lightweight (-60 kg) division.

Tadahiro Akiba is a former Japanese football player and manager. His cousin Nobuhide Akiba is also footballer.

Tadahiro Sekimoto was a Japanese electronics engineer, a recipient of the IEEE Medal of Honor (2004), chairman of Japan's Institute for International Socio-Economic Studies (IISE), and former chairman of the Board of Councilors of the Japan Federation of Economic Organizations (Keidanren) who served as president and later chairman of Japan's NEC Corporation (NEC). Born in Hyōgo, Japan, Sekimoto earned his BS in physics in 1948 and his Doctor of Engineering degree in 1962 at the University of Tokyo.

Tadahiro Aizawa was a nattō merchant who was the first to discover Japanese Paleolithic artifacts. Prior to Aizawa, the scholarly consensus had been that Japan was uninhabitable before the Jōmon period. Aizawa discovered stone axes at Iwajuku in September 1946. Aizawa embarrassed the professional archaeologists; he was only an amateur who passionately believed in pre-Jomon habitation.

Tadahiro Ogino is a Japanese Nippon Professional Baseball with the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan's Pacific League.

Tadahiro Matsushita was a Japanese politician and five-time member of the House of Representatives of Japan. He served in government from 1962 when he joined the Ministry of Construction to 2012. At the time of his death, he was the Minister of State for Financial Services.
