Sandy Powell is a British costume designer. She has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design fifteen times, winning three awards for the films Shakespeare in Love (1998), The Aviator (2004), and The Young Victoria (2009). She has also received fifteen BAFTA Award nominations, winning for Velvet Goldmine (1998), The Young Victoria, and The Favourite (2018). Powell has been a frequent collaborator with directors Martin Scorsese and Todd Haynes, having designed the costumes for seven of Scorsese's films and four of Haynes's.

Sandy Alomar, Sr.
Santos "Sandy" Alomar Conde Sr., is a former Major League Baseball second baseman who played for the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves (1964–66), New York Mets (1967), Chicago White Sox (1967–69), California Angels (1969–74), New York Yankees (1974–76), and Texas Rangers (1977–78). Alomar was a switch-hitter and threw right-handed. He is the father of former Major League catcher and current Cleveland Indians coach Sandy Alomar Jr. and Hall of Fame second baseman Roberto Alomar.

Sandy Brondello
Sandra Anne "Sandy" Brondello is an Australian women's basketball coach, and the current coach of the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA. Brondello played in Australia, Germany and the WNBA before retiring to become a coach. The 1.70 m (5'7") Brondello is one of Australia's all-time best shooting guards. She played on Australia's "Opals" national team at four Summer Olympics, and won three medals. She attended the Australian Institute of Sport in 1986–1987, and was inducted to the Australian Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.
