Rudy Barbier is a French cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Israel Start-Up Nation. He is the brother of fellow racing cyclist Pierre Barbier. In October 2020, he was named in the startlist for the 2020 Giro d'Italia.

Rudy W.G. Demotte is a Belgian socialist politician who served as 12th Minister-President of Wallonia (2007-2014), replacing Elio Di Rupo, one month after a historical defeat of the socialists in the federal election.

Until its closure in 2014 he edited the science fiction webzine Flurb.

Rudy Matthijs is a Belgian retired professional road bicycle racer. He won 4 stages in the Tour de France, 3 of which came during the 1985 Tour de France on stages 1 and 2, and then on the final stage of the tour with one of the biggest sprinter's stages in all of cycling on the Champs Elysees.
