Rostislav III de Kiev
Rostislav Vsevolodovich
Rostislav Vsevolodovich was the Prince of Pereyaslavl (1078–1093), son of Vsevolod I of Kiev, and half brother of Vladimir Monomakh. He fought at Stugna river against the Cumans and drowned while fleeing the battle.

Rostislav Vargashkin
Rostislav Yevgenyevich Vargashkin is a retired Russian cyclist who competed at the 1956 and 1960 Summer Olympics. In 1956 he finished last in the 2000 m tandem sprint, due to a crash during a repechage round, whereas in 1960 he won a bronze medal in the 1000 m track time trial. He set five world records: in the 200 m time trial from a flying start and in the 1000 m time trial, from a standing start and from a flying start.

Rostyslav Volodymyrovych, Rostislav Vladimirovich was a landless prince (izgoi) from the Rurikid dynasty of Kievan Rus’. He was baptized as Mikhail. According to the Russian genealogist Nikolai Baumgarten, the mother of Rostislav was Oda of Stade, a daughter of the Stade Count Leopold. That claim is also supported by other historians.
