Sir Robert Malpas, CBE FREng FRSA is a British engineer and businessman. Much of his career was spent with ICI. He was Chairman of ICI Europa Ltd and a member of the ICI Main Board before becoming a managing director of BP, Chairman of PowerGen and the Cookson Group, and Co-Chairman of Eurotunnel. In April 2018, Sir Robert Malpas was pushed onto the tracks at Marble Arch station where he suffered serious injuries. His pusher was sentenced to life in prison in June 2019.

Robert Franklin Williams was an American civil rights leader and author best known for serving as president of the Monroe, North Carolina, chapter of the NAACP in the 1950s and into 1961. He succeeded in integrating the local public library and swimming pool in Monroe. At a time of high racial tension and official abuses, Williams promoted armed Black self-defense in the United States. In addition, he helped gain support for gubernatorial pardons in 1959 for two young African-American boys who had received lengthy reformatory sentences in what was known as the Kissing Case of 1958. It generated national and international attention and criticism of the state.

Robert Prosinečki is a Croatian professional football manager and former footballer who played as a midfielder. He is one of the few footballers to have played for both the Spanish rival clubs Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

Robert E. Mnuchin is an American art dealer and former banker. He is the founder of the Mnuchin Gallery at 45 East 78th Street, New York. He is the father of Steven Mnuchin, who was the United States Secretary of the Treasury in the Trump administration.

Robert Guy Bathurst is an English actor. Bathurst was born in Gold Coast in 1957, where his father was working as a management consultant. In 1959 his family moved to Ballybrack, Dublin, Ireland and Bathurst attended school in Killiney and later was enrolled at Headfort, an Irish boarding school. In 1966, the family moved to England and Bathurst transferred to Worth School in Sussex, where he took up amateur dramatics. At the age of 18, he read law at Pembroke College, Cambridge and joined the Cambridge Footlights group. After graduating, he took up acting full-time.

Robert Piché is a Canadian pilot. On August 24, 2001, he was captain of the Airbus A330 flying Air Transat Flight 236 and managed to land the aircraft safely in the Azores after it lost all power due to fuel exhaustion. This remains a record glide length for a commercial aircraft. Piché and his co-pilot were later assigned partial responsibility for the incident, despite not being responsible for the improper maintenance that led to the fuel exhaustion.

Robert Earl "Kool" Bell, also known by his Muslim name Muhammad Bayyan, is an American musician, singer and songwriter. He is one of the founding members of the American funk band Kool & the Gang.

Robert Fuller is an American horse rancher and retired actor. He began his career on television, guest-starring primarily on Western programs, while appearing in several movies, including: The Brain from Planet Arous; Teenage Thunder ; Return of the Seven (1966); Incident at Phantom Hill ; and The Hard Ride (1971). In his five decades of television, Fuller was known for his deep, raspy voice and was familiar to television viewers throughout the 1960s and 1969 from his co-starring roles as Jess Harper and Cooper Smith on the popular 1960s Western series Laramie and Wagon Train, and was also well known for his starring role as Dr. Kelly Brackett in the 1970s medical/action drama Emergency!

Robert of Jumièges was the first Norman archbishop of Canterbury. He had previously served as prior of the Abbey of St Ouen at Rouen in Normandy, before becoming abbot of Jumièges Abbey, near Rouen, in 1037. He was a good friend and adviser to the king of England, Edward the Confessor, who appointed him bishop of London in 1044, and then archbishop in 1051. Robert's time as archbishop lasted only about eighteen months. He had already come into conflict with the powerful Earl Godwin, and while archbishop made attempts to recover lands lost to Godwin and his family. He also refused to consecrate Spearhafoc, Edward's choice to succeed Robert as Bishop of London. The rift between Robert and Godwin culminated in Robert's deposition and exile in 1052.
