Pekka Lagerblom is a Finnish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Notably, he won the German double of Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal with Werder Bremen in 2004.

Pekka Rinne is a Finnish professional hockey goaltender for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL). Drafted by the Predators in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Rinne became their starting goaltender during the 2008–09 season and quickly established himself as one of the NHL's best goaltenders. He was a Vezina Trophy finalist as the NHL's top regular season goaltender in 2011, 2012 and 2015 before winning the award in 2018.

Pekka Juhani "P. J." Hannikainen was a Finnish composer and the head of the musical branch of the prominent Hannikainen family. His uncle was the writer and journalist Pietari Hannikainen.

In December 2001 he set a junior world record on the 500 m with the time 35.89. Since that time he has established himself as one of the best speed skating sprinters in the world. He won his first medal, a bronze, on the 1000 m in the 2005 World Single Distance Championships. Koskela was number 10 in the 500 m of the 2006 Winter Olympics.

Pekka Ansio Heino is a Finnish singer. He is currently the lead vocalist in AOR band Brother Firetribe, where he plays alongside Erno "Emppu" Vuorinen of Nightwish. Prior to this, he played in melodic metal band Leverage and a Finnish rock band called Cashmir, last one with fellow Brother Firetribe member Tomppa Nikulainen.
