Paul K. Van Riper is a retired United States Marine lieutenant general. Van Riper was a combat veteran — twice receiving the Silver Star Medal for his heroic actions during the Vietnam War. At the time of his retirement, Van Riper was serving as the Commanding General, 2nd Marine Division and Marine Corps Combat Development Command, Quantico, Virginia. Since his retirement, Van Riper has served on several advisory boards and panels. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation.

He is one of only six defenders to have won the PFA Players' Player of the Year award. He also played for St Patrick's Athletic, Derby County and Sheffield United.

Jubb made his Grand Slam main draw debut at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships after receiving a wildcard for the singles main draw. He made his ATP Tour debut at the 2019 Eastbourne International by winning two qualifying matches, before losing in the first round to Taylor Fritz. Jubb won the singles title at the 2019 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship as a member of the South Carolina Gamecocks.
