Nicholas Francis, also known as Nicholas II, was briefly Duke of Lorraine and Duke of Bar for a few months in 1634, spanning the time between the abdication of his older brother and his own resignation. He was therefore Duke during the invasion of Lorraine by the French in the Thirty Years War.

Nicholas I was the natural son of Bohemian king Ottokar II Přemysl and his mistress Agnes of Kuenring. In 1269 he became Duke of Opava and thereby the progenitor of the Silesian cadet branch of the Přemyslid dynasty that lasted until 1521.

Sir Nicholas Alexander Brathwaite OBE was the prime minister of Grenada from 1983 to 1984 and from 1990 to 1995.

Nicholas Andre Pinnock is an English actor. He is known for his roles as Jason Backland in Marcella and Leon in award-winning Channel 4 drama Top Boy. Pinnock is currently starring in Criminal: UK released on 20 September 2019 on Netflix. In March 2019, it was announced that Pinnock had been cast as lead character Aaron Wallace in the American legal drama For Life which premiered on ABC on February 11, 2020.

Nicholas II of Opava was Duke of Opava from 1318 to 1365 and Duke of Ratibór from 1337 to 1365 and Burgrave of Kladsko from 1350 to 1365 and also chamberlain of the Kingdom of Bohemia.

Sir Nicholas Poyntz was a prominent English courtier during the latter part of Henry VIII's reign. There is a portrait drawing by Hans Holbein the Younger in the Royal Collection and an oil portrait after the same artist based on the drawing in the National Portrait Gallery, London. One further portrait also exists after Holbein.

Nicholas Alexandrovich was tsesarevich—the heir apparent—of Imperial Russia from 2 March 1855 until his death in 1865.
