Lucien Schaeffer was a French football Goalkeeper who was a member of the French squad at the 1948 Summer Olympics.

Lucien Lévy was a French radio engineer and radio receiver manufacturer. He invented the superheterodyne method of amplifying radio signals, used in almost all AM radio receivers. His patent claim was at first disallowed in the United States in favour of the American Edwin Howard Armstrong, but on appeal Lévy's claim as inventor was accepted in the US.

Lucien Bouchardeau was a Nigerien football referee. Born in Niamey, he is best remembered for having officiated in 1998 a World Cup first round match between Italy and Chile. He called a penalty against Chile in the 85th minute, which allowed Italy the chance to tie the match 2-2. Following the game he talked to the press about his fear he would be sacked from the tournament, which would mark the end of his career. He also officiated matches at the 1996 Olympics, 1997 Confederations Cup and the 1998 and 1996 African Cup of Nations. He died on 20 February 2018 at the age of 56 from heart failure.

Lucien Paul Victor Febvre was a French historian best known for the role he played in establishing the Annales School of history. He was the initial editor of the Encyclopédie française together with Anatole de Monzie.

Lucien Alphonse Paul Gaudin was a French fencer. He competed in foil and in épée events at the 1920, 1924 and 1928 Olympics and won a gold or silver medal in every event he entered, accumulating four gold and two silver medals total. This record is tied for the best French Olympics performance, matching fencers Christian d'Oriola then followed by both Philippe Cattiau and Roger Ducret.

Lucien Pissarro was a landscape painter, printmaker, wood engraver and designer and printer of fine books. His landscape paintings employ techniques of Impressionism and Neo-Impressionism, but he also exhibited with Les XX. Apart from his landscapes he painted a few still lifes and family portraits. Until 1890 he worked in France, but thereafter was based in Britain.

Lucien Delfour is a French-Australian slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2006. He represented France in the 2006 season. Since 2010 he has represented Australia.
