Lorenzo Richelmy is an Italian actor, best known to audiences outside of Italy for his performance as the title character in the Netflix original series Marco Polo. Prior to being cast in the series, he appeared in several Italian television shows and films. He attended Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, and was the youngest student ever admitted to the school.

Lorenzo Rota is an Italian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Intermarché–Wanty–Gobert Matériaux. He rode at the 2014 UCI Road World Championships, and was named in the start list for the 2017 Giro d'Italia. In August 2020, it was announced that Rota would be joining the Intermarché–Wanty–Gobert Matériaux team on a one-year contract for the 2021 season.

Lorenzo Baldisseri is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church who served as Secretary General of the Synod of Bishops from 21 September 2013 until 15 September 2020. He was made a cardinal in 2014. He previously served as Secretary of the Congregation for Bishops after more than twenty years in the diplomatic service of the Holy See that included stints as Apostolic Nuncio to Haiti, Paraguay, India, Nepal, and Brazil.
