Hernando de Soto Polar is a prominent Peruvian economist known for his work on the informal economy and on the importance of business and property rights. His work on the developing world has earned him praise worldwide by numerous heads of state, particularly for his publication The Mystery of Capital. He is the current president of the Institute for Liberty and Democracy (ILD), a think tank devoted in promoting economic development in developing countries located in Lima, Peru.

Hernando Guerra-García Campos is a Peruvian businessman and politician. In 2016, he ran for the Presidency under the National Solidarity-UPP alliance for the general elections for the same year. However, after a few months he withdrew from the electoral campaign. He is currently Keiko Fujimori's campaign manager in the 2021 general election.

Hernando César Molina Araújo is a Colombian politician. Son of Hernando Molina Céspedes and Consuelo Araújo, he studied at the Colegio Nacional Loperena in Valledupar and later studied Law in the Antonio Nariño University, but dropped out. He declares himself a self-taught man. Molina was governor of the Colombian Department of Cesar for the period 2004–2007, a term which he did not complete due to his involvement in the Parapolitica scandal. he was called to testify on May 17, 2007 at the Office of the Attorney General of Colombia.
