Henry Edwards Huntington was an American railroad magnate and collector of art and rare books. Huntington settled in Los Angeles, where he owned the Pacific Electric Railway as well as substantial real estate interests. In addition to being a businessman and art collector, Huntington was a major booster for Los Angeles in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In the city of San Marino, California, many places are named after him, including a school, a road and a library.

Henry Giessenbier (1892–1935) was an American banker in St. Louis, Missouri of German ancestry. He became the founder of the Young Men's Progressive Civic Association in 1915 and the United States Junior Chamber in 1920.

Henry Watkins Collier was the 14th Governor of the U.S. state of Alabama from 1849 to 1853. He was born in Lunenburg County, Virginia. Collier arrived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama from South Carolina in 1823. He sat on the Alabama Supreme Court for 18 years, of which 12 were as Chief Justice. Following his term as Governor he was offered a seat in the United States Senate but declined and retired.
