List of Famous people named Beppo

Josef “Beppo” Römer was a member of the Freikorps Oberland, one of the paramilitary organizations that sprang up around Germany as soldiers returned in defeat from World War I. He was later an organizer for the Communist Party of Germany (KPD). He worked against the Third Reich, plotted an assassination of Hitler in 1934 and was executed by the Nazi regime.

Beppo Brem was a German film actor, who was in over 200 film and television productions between 1932 and 1990. He often played stereotypically Bavarian characters, but managed to find respect as a character actor in later years.

Josef "Beppo" Mauhart was an Austrian business executive. During his career, he worked as a newspaper executive and chief executive officer of Austria Tabak. He was also the longest serving president of the Austrian Football Association.

Beppo Levi was an Italian mathematician. He published high-level academic articles and books, not only on mathematics, but also on physics, history, philosophy, and pedagogy. Levi was a member of the Bologna Academy of Sciences and of the Accademia dei Lincei.
