Angelo Conterno was an Italian professional road racing cyclist during the 1950s and early 1960s who is most famous for becoming the first Italian to win the Vuelta a España. At the 1956 Vuelta after winning Stage 2 and capturing the golden jersey, Conterno, in one of the closest Vuelta's in history, outlasted Spaniard Jesus Loroño to win the overall title by just 13 seconds. The following year, Loroño won the 1957 Vuelta a España without Conterno in attendance.

Angelo Spina is an Italian Roman Catholic prelate and the current Archbishop of Ancona-Osimo since his appointment in 2017. Spina served prior to this as the Bishop of Sulmona-Valva since being raised to the episcopate in 2007. He has served in various capacities throughout his priesthood and episcopate: religious education teacher and instructor for new teachers as well as a parish priest and vicar.

Angelo Frosi, born 31 January 1924 in San Bassano, was an Italian clergyman and auxiliary bishop for the 2nd Bishop of Diocese of Abaetetuba. He was ordained in 1948 and appointed a bishop in 1981. He died in 1995.

Angelo F. Taylor is an American track and field athlete, winner of 400-meter hurdles at the 2000 and 2008 Summer Olympics. His personal record for the hurdles event is 47.25 seconds. His time puts him in a tie with Félix Sánchez for the #8 performer of all time. Sánchez also won two Olympic gold medals, in 2004 between Taylor's two golds and 2012, immediately following. Taylor also has a 400-meter dash best of 44.05 seconds, ranking him as the #21 performer of all time, superior to any other athlete who has made a serious effort in the 400 metres hurdles. He won the bronze medal in the 400 m at the 2007 World Championships in Athletics.
