Charles Enderlin
Charles Enderlin is a Franco-Israeli journalist, specialising in the Middle East and Israel. He is the author of a number of books on the subject, including Shamir, une biographie (1991), Shattered Dreams: The Failure of the Peace Process in the Middle East, 1995–2002 (2002), and The Lost Years: Radical Islam, Intifada and Wars in the Middle East 2001–2006 (2007). He was awarded France's highest decoration, the Légion d'honneur, in August 2009.

Vera Voloshina
Vera Danilovna Voloshina was a Russian partisan who after joining the Red Army took part in subversive activities against the Nazis in World War II. After being ambushed by the Germans in November 1941, she was brutally hanged near the village of Golovkovo in the Naro-Fominsky District to the southwest of Moscow. According to legend, she was also the model behind Ivan Shadr's Girl with an Oar sculpture in Moscow's Gorky Park. In 1994, Voloshina was honoured posthumously as a Heroine of the Russian Federation.
Seiichi Eto
Seiichi Eto is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet. A native of Ōita, Ōita and graduate of Oita University, he had served in the city assembly of Ōita for two terms since 1973 and the assembly of Ōita Prefecture for two terms since 1979. He was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1990 after an unsuccessful run in 1986. In 2000 he lost the seat but was re-elected three years later. He, however, lost the seat again in 2005. In 2007 he ran for the House of Councillors and was elected.
