She was previously a member of the Workers World Party. She ran as the PSL's and the Peace and Freedom Party's presidential candidate in the 2016 presidential election, with Eugene Puryear and Dennis J. Banks as her running mates respectively. She was the PSL's presidential nominee in the 2008 presidential election. For the 2020 election, Sunil Freeman was her running mate.

Y. S. Vivekananda Reddy was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Kadapa constituency of Andhra Pradesh. He was a member of the Indian National Congress. He was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India from the Kadapa constituency in Andhra Pradesh. He was brutally stabbed to death at his residence in Pulivendula, Kadapa District of Andhra Pradesh in March 2019. It took a political turn when YS Jaganmohan Reddy and YSR Congress Party blamed the Telugu Desam Party. TDP also countered YS Jagan for running conspiracy around murder, taking turns on demanding CBI enquiry and being least bothered probing his own uncle's murder case after forming his own Government in Andhra Pradesh after 2019 General Elections.

A’ja Riyadh Wilson is an American professional basketball player for the Las Vegas Aces of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Wilson played for the South Carolina Gamecocks in college, and helped lead the Gamecocks to their first NCAA Women's Basketball Championship in 2017, and won the NCAA Basketball Tournament Most Outstanding Player award. In the 2018 WNBA Draft, she was drafted first overall by the Aces. That same year, she won a record 3rd straight SEC Player of the Year award, led South Carolina to a record 4th straight SEC Tournament Championship, became the all-time leading scorer in South Carolina women's basketball history, and was a consensus first-team All-American for the 3rd consecutive season. Wilson swept all National Player of the Year awards as the best player in Women's College basketball for 2018.
