James Robert McMahon Jr. is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons, most notably with the Chicago Bears. He played college football at Brigham Young University, where he was a two-time All-American and later a 1998 inductee of the College Football Hall of Fame. Due to his collegiate success, McMahon was selected by the Bears in the first round of the 1982 NFL Draft as the fifth overall pick.

He has also voiced many other characters across a wide variety of popular media, including Eeyore in the Winnie the Pooh franchise, Monterey Jack in Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, the first voice of KARR in Knight Rider and the vocalizations of the predator in Predator. In 2007, Cullen returned to the role of Optimus Prime in Transformers media, starting with the first live-action film.
