Hans Christian Petersen was a Norwegian politician and served as the de facto Prime minister of Norway during the personal union of Sweden-Norway from 1858 to 1861.

Winnie Holzman is an American dramatist, screenwriter, and poet. She is known for having created the ABC television series My So-Called Life, which led to a nomination for a scriptwriting Emmy Award in 1995, as well as her work writing for thirtysomething and Once and Again. Holzman has garnered fame for her work on Broadway, most notably for co-writing the smash stage musical Wicked.

Atle Pedersen is a Norwegian former professional racing cyclist. He won the Norwegian National Road Race Championship in 1985 and 1986. He also competed in the road race at the 1988 Summer Olympics.

Karin Nellemose, was a Danish actress in the theatre and in Danish cinema. She was the sister of sculptor Knud Nellemose (1908–1997). In Matador she plays a significant role as the confused spinster Misse Møhge.

Marie-France Dufour or Marie was a French singer. She made her hit Soleil in 1971, but she is probably best known for representing Monaco in the Eurovision Song Contest 1973 in Luxembourg by song "Un train qui part". She was also featured in Les Misérables as Éponine. She died of leukemia at the age of 41 in 1990.
