Minoru Shiraishi is a Japanese actor, voice actor, singer, songwriter and radio personality who was formerly affiliated with I'm Enterprise and Pro-Fit. He is the only "live-action" character in the Newtype Anime magazine to be featured in the Monthly Top-10 Most-Popular Male Character charts. He played himself in Episode 6 of Kiddy Girl-and as a voice actor in a voice actor cafe. Other roles include Taniguchi in the Haruhi Suzumiya series, and Itsuki Takeuchi in the Initial D reboot feature films in 2014.

Kojiro Shiraishi is the record holder as the youngest sailor in the world to circumnavigate the globe in a 176-day continuous single-handed unassisted journey in 1994.

Ashima Shiraishi is an American rock climber. Shiraishi started climbing at the age of six at Rat Rock in Central Park, joining her father. Only a few years later, she quickly established herself as one of the top boulderers and sport climbers in the world, and is widely considered to be the best teenage climber regardless of gender. Her numerous accolades include first-place finishes in international competitions, and multiple first female and youngest ascents. Shiraishi is featured in several short documentary-style films, and is the subject of the documentary short "Return to the Red" (2012).

Michinori Shiraishi was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. He was brother-in-law to General Takeshi Mori, commander of the First Imperial Guards Division, in charge of defending Tokyo and the surrounding region.
