Hu Shih
Hu Shih (Chinese: 胡適; pinyin: Hú Shì; Wade–Giles: Hu2 Shih4; 17 December 1891 – 24 February 1962), also known as Hu Suh in early references, was a famous thinker, Chinese philosopher, essayist and diplomat. Hu is widely recognized today as a key contributor to Chinese liberalism and language reform in his advocacy for the use of written vernacular Chinese. He was influential in the May Fourth Movement, one of the leaders of China's New Culture Movement, was a president of Peking University, and in 1939 was nominated for a Nobel Prize in literature. He had a wide range of interests such as literature, philosophy, history, textual criticism, and pedagogy. He was also an influential redology scholar and held the famous Jiaxu manuscript (甲戌本; Jiǎxū běn) for many years until his death.

Jay Shih is a Taiwanese actor, singer and television host. He debuted as one half of the Mandopop duo Awaking, with the other being Wesley Chia. As an actor, he has appeared in television series including Miss No Good (2008), Summer Fever (2012) and Love Cheque Charge (2014), and is best known for portraying Cheng Jen-wei in the SET series In a Good Way (2013).

Stan Shih, is the Co-founder & Honorary Chairman of Acer Inc. In 1976, after receiving bachelor's and master's degrees in electronic engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Shih founded Multitech with his wife Carolyn Yeh and five partners. Shih chaired Multitech through to 1987, when the company was renamed Acer, continuing as Acer chairman until his retirement in late 2004, having seen the company grow from a tiny start-up to a billion-dollar worldwide brand. Shih remained active in charity work during his retirement, including serving as Taiwan's Special Envoy in the APEC Australia 2007. In November 2013, Shih returned to Acer after being reinstated as president and chairman. He serves on the boards of Acer Inc., Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Nan Shan Life Insurance Co., Ltd., Taiwan Public Television Service Foundation and Chinese Television System. He is the Chairman of Cloud Gate Culture and Arts Foundation, the Head of Taiwan Connection Fun Club, One Song Orchestra Fun Club, the Convener of the Cultural Tech Alliance, Taiwan and the Chairman of CT Ambi Investment and Consulting Inc.
Vanessa Shih
Vanessa Shih is a Taiwanese diplomat who was appointed the representative of Republic of China to Austria in January 2016. She previously led the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore from 2009 to 2012, when she was named vice minister of foreign affairs. As vice minister Shih advocated for the United Nations to allow the Republic of China to have participation of some forms within the UN.
