Rasikh Salam
Rasikh Salam Dar is an Indian cricketer. In December 2018, he was bought by the Mumbai Indians in the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League. He became the third cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir to be picked in the Indian Premier League. At 17 years and 353 days, he became the youngest player to make their debut for the Mumbai Indians. However, in June 2019, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) banned him for two years following a discrepancy with his birth certificate.
Nawaf Salam
Nawaf Salam is a Lebanese diplomat, jurist, and academic. He was elected on 9 November 2017 as judge on the International Court of Justice for the 2018-2027 term, having received a concurrent majority of votes in the United Nations General Assembly and Security Council. He served as Lebanon's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York from 2007 to 2017, during which period he held the positions of President of the Security Council and Vice President of the General Assembly.

He also served as the acting President of Lebanon from May 2014 until October 2016 in his capacity as Prime Minister. He previously served in the government of Lebanon as Minister of Culture from 2008 to 2009.

Saeb Salam was a Lebanese politician, who served as Prime Minister six times between 1952 and 1973. Following his death, the Lebanese daily As-Safir described Salam as "most successful in dealing with the media and in presenting a particular image of himself to people on a daily basis through wearing his customary carnation ... and expounding unforgettable slogans", and that he was Lebanon's most popular prime minister after independence leader Riad Al Solh. A significant aspect of Salam was that, unlike other Lebanese leaders, he did not act as a chief over a particular area in the country. Salam fiercely advocated the unity of Lebanon.

He shared the 1979 Nobel Prize in Physics with Sheldon Glashow and Steven Weinberg for his contribution to the electroweak unification theory. He was the first Pakistani and Muslim to receive a Nobel Prize in science and the second from an Islamic country to receive any Nobel Prize.
