Arvind Lal is an Indian billionaire, pathologist, medical administrator and the chairman and managing director of Dr Lal PathLabs, a medical diagnostic centre in Delhi. A medical graduate and a medical academic, he is reported to have modernized Indian medical diagnostics and initiated the first Public Private Partnership (PPP) in the field of laboratory testing in India. He holds the rank of a Brigadier in the Indian Armed Forces, an honorary rank conferred by the Army. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2009, for his contributions to Medicine.

Master Nand Lal, also referred to as Nanadlal of Jaranwala, was an Indian freedom fighter, politician and a member of the Constituent Assembly of India from East Punjab.

Paragi Lal was an Indian politician. He was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India from Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh as a member of the Indian National Congress. He was also a member of the Constituent Assembly of India.

Jagat Narain Lal was a freedom fighter who played an influential role in the making of modern Bihar. As a member of the Indian National Congress and of the Constituent Assembly, he was a significant contributor to the debates and issues that chartered the course of the Indian independence.
