Kurt A. Körber was a German founder and businessman, who founded a group of companies including the Hauni Maschinenbau AG, an internationally leading company for the production of machines for the tobacco industry. The sole shareholder of the companies is the Körber Foundation, initiated in 1959 by Körber. Until his death in 1992, Körber was the sole owner of the Körber AG.

Serge Korber is a French film director and screenwriter. He directed 45 films between 1962 and 2007. Successful as the director of comedies starring Louis de Funès in L'homme orchestre and Perched on a Tree, he earned acclaim with his tragical drama Hearth Fires starring Annie Girardot and Claude Jade as mother and daughter. This film was official French film at the 1972 Cannes Film Festival.

Hilde Körber was an Austrian film actress who worked largely in the German Film Industry. She appeared in 53 films between 1930 and 1964. She was born in Vienna, Austria-Hungary and died in West Berlin, West Germany.
