Princess Eudoxia of Bulgaria was the eldest daughter and third child of King Ferdinand of Bulgaria and his first wife Princess Marie Louise of Bourbon-Parma. She was a devoted sister and confidante to King Boris III.

Anna-Teodora was a Bulgarian princess, the daughter of emperor Ivan Asen II and Irene Komnene. She sprung from her father's third marriage, and was born between 1238 and 1241. Through her mother, Anna-Theodora was a granddaughter of titular Byzantine emperor Theodore Komnenos Doukas.

Gavril Radomir was the emperor (tsar) of Bulgaria from October 1014 to August or September 1015. He was the son of tsar Samuel.

Helena of Bulgaria, Empress of Serbia was a Bulgarian princess, the daughter of Sratsimir of Kran and Keratsa Petritsa and the sister of tsar (emperor) Ivan Alexander of Bulgaria, who married Serbian King and later Emperor Stefan Dušan. She was a regent of Serbia between 1355 and 1356 for her son.

Dorothea of Bulgaria, also called Doroslava (Дорослава), was the first Queen of Bosnia. Daughter of the Bulgarian tsar Ivan Sratsimir, Dorothea was held hostage by King Louis I of Hungary, who married her off to Ban Tvrtko I of Bosnia in 1374. She became queen in 1377 and may have been the mother of King Tvrtko II.

Theodore Svetoslav ruled as emperor (tsar) of Bulgaria from 1300 to 1322. The date of his birth is unknown. He was a wise and capable ruler who brought stability and relative prosperity to the Bulgarian Empire after two decades of constant Mongol intervention in the internal issues of the Empire. Theodore Svetoslav's reign began with the return of Southern Bessarabia to Bulgaria and a few years later he managed to defeat the Byzantines and retake most of northern Thrace occupied by them during the crisis. After 1307 he led a peaceful policy towards all neighbours, which resulted in expanded trade and economy.

Boris II was emperor (tsar) of Bulgaria from 969 to 977.

Ivan Asen III, ruled as tsar of Bulgaria 1279–1280. Ivan Asen III was the son of Mitso Asen of Bulgaria and Maria of Bulgaria, a daughter of Ivan Asen II of Bulgaria and Irene of Thessalonica. He was probably born in about 1259/60, and died in exile in 1303.

Ivan II, reigned as tsar of Bulgaria from 1298 to 1299. The date of his birth is unknown, but probably not much earlier than c. 1290. He died as a monk in exile before 1330.
