List of Famous Football Managers

Petr Rada is a Czech football coach and former player. He represented Czechoslovakia internationally in the 1980s and managed the Czech Republic national football team between 2008 and 2009. He is well known for his arguments with fans or trainer colleagues and also for impulsive style of coaching.

Igoris Pankratjevas is a Lithuanian professional football coach and a former player. He made his debut in the Soviet Top League in 1983 for FK Žalgiris Vilnius.

Gerard López Segú, usually known as just Gerard, is a Spanish former professional footballer, and a manager. An all-around midfielder, he was known for precision passes and ball control skills. During his career, he played for several clubs including Barcelona and Valencia, helping the latter reach the 2000 Champions League final.

Ronny Deila is a Norwegian football manager and former player, who is currently the head coach of New York City FC. He spent most of his playing career at Odd before becoming head coach at Strømsgodset, winning the Norwegian Cup in 2010 and the Norwegian League title in 2013. In two seasons managing Celtic, 2014–15 and 2015–16, he won the Scottish Premiership twice and the Scottish League Cup in 2014–15.

Carmine Gautieri is an Italian professional football coach and a former player. He was most recently the head coach of Serie C club Triestina.

Rúnar Kristinsson is an Icelandic former footballer who played for Lokeren, Lillestrøm SK, Örgryte IS and KR Reykjavík. He is the current manager of KR. His son, Rúnar Alex Rúnarsson is a goalkeeper for Premier League side Arsenal.
