Ekaterina Valeryevna Makarova is a former Russian professional tennis player. She achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 8, on 6 April 2015. Her best Grand Slam singles results have come at the 2014 US Open and the 2015 Australian Open where she reached the semifinals on both occasions. Makarova is a four-time Grand Slam champion in doubles competition, having won the 2012 US Open mixed-doubles tournament with Bruno Soares, and the 2013 French Open, the 2014 US Open and 2017 Wimbledon Championships with Elena Vesnina. Makarova also won a gold medal in women's doubles at Rio with Vesnina.

Inmaculada Concepción "Conchita" Martínez Bernat is a former professional tennis player. She was the first Spanish player to win the women's singles title at Wimbledon, where she beat Martina Navratilova in the 1994 final. Martínez also was the singles runner-up at the 1998 Australian Open and the 2000 French Open. She reached a highest world ranking of No. 2 in October 1995 and finished the season in the Top 10 for nine years. Martínez won 33 singles and 13 doubles titles during her 18-year career, as well as three Olympic medals.

Polona Hercog is a Slovenian professional tennis player. Her career-high WTA rankings are No. 35 in singles and No. 56 in doubles. She has won five WTA Tour titles; three in singles and two in doubles. Hercog also enjoyed success on the ITF Women's Circuit, winning 14 singles and five doubles titles. She is the Slovenian No. 1 in women's tennis.

Agnieszka Roma Radwańska (listen) is a Polish former professional tennis player. Known for making intelligent use of the court, she won 20 career singles titles, two doubles titles, and achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 2 on 9 July 2012. Her achievements include winning the season-ending WTA Finals in 2015, Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Fan Favourite Award six times, Shot of the Year five times, and Shot of the Month on a regular basis.

Caroline Garcia is a French professional tennis player. She has won seven singles and six doubles titles on the WTA tour, one singles and one doubles title on the WTA 125K series, and has one singles and four doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. On 10 September 2018, she reached her best WTA singles ranking of world No. 4, and on 24 October 2016 she peaked at No. 2 in the doubles rankings, tied with fellow Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic.

Lauren Davis is an American professional tennis player. Known for her aggressive backhand, quickness, and clay-court ability, she won her first title on the WTA Tour at the ASB Classic in Auckland and reached her career-high singles ranking of world No. 26 in May 2017. Davis has also won eight singles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit.

Nathalie Tauziat is a French former professional tennis player. She was the runner-up in women's singles at the 1998 Wimbledon Championships and runner-up in the women's doubles at the 2001 US Open partnering Kimberly Po-Messerli. Julia Görges is a German former professional tennis player. A former top-ten singles player, she was ranked as high as No. 9 in the world on 20 August 2018, and was ranked inside the top 15 in doubles, peaking at world No. 12 on 22 August 2016. Marion Bartoli is a French former professional tennis player.
