Marcel Queheille was a French professional road bicycle racer. He was born in Sanguis. In 1959 Queheille was the winner of the ninth stage of the 1959 Tour de France.
Leopoldo Serantes
Leopoldo Serantes was a Filipino amateur boxer and soldier. He competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea in the Light Flyweight division, winning the bronze medal in a lost bout against Ivailo Marinov from Bulgaria in the semifinals. Serantes' win marked the first time in 24 years that an athlete from the Philippines won an Olympic medal since boxer Anthony Villanueva, his head coach, won a silver medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics, and he became the sixth Filipino overall to be awarded an Olympic medal.

He stood for election when the country's interim President was elected by the interim parliament in January 2014, but was defeated in the second and final round of voting by 75 votes to 53, and Catherine Samba-Panza was elected. Kolingba was born in Bangui, and hi father André Kolingba was a previous president of the country.

Irene Mambilima
Irene Chirwa Mambilima was the Chief Justice of Zambia from 2015 until her death in 2021. She also served as Chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Zambia and presided over the 2006 and 2011 general elections and the January 2015 presidential by-election. She was part of several election observer missions including in Liberia, Kenya, Mozambique, and Seychelles. Her other international assignments included serving as Sessional Judge of the Supreme Court of The Gambia in 2003. Mambilima sat on the International Board of the International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ) as a Director of the Africa Region. She was also a member of several professional associations including the Zambia Association of Women Judges, the Editorial Board Council of Law Reporting, the Child Fund (Zambia), Women in Law Southern Africa, and the Council of the Institution of Advanced Legal Education.
John Hinch
John Frederick Hinch was a British drummer from Lichfield, Staffordshire. From 1973–1975, he was the drummer in an early line-up of heavy metal band Judas Priest. Hinch was a jazz-rock styled drummer with a very compact style.
