Stefano Madia was an Italian film actor. He appeared in twelve films between 1978 and 1993. At the 1979 Cannes Film Festival he won the award for Best Supporting Actor, for Vittorio Gassman's film Dear Father.

Orlando de Azevedo Viana, commonly known as Orlando Pingo de Ouro was a Brazilian footballer, who played as a left midfielder.

Arthur Frederick Hailey was a British-Canadian novelist whose plot-driven storylines were set against the backdrops of various industries. His books, which include such best sellers as Hotel (1965), Airport (1968), Wheels (1971), The Moneychangers (1975), and Overload (1979), have sold 170 million copies in 38 languages.

Virgilio López Irias O.F.M. was a Honduran clergyman and bishop for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Trujillo (Honduras). He became ordained in 1973. He was appointed bishop in 1987. He died in 2004.

Doris Troy was an American R&B singer and songwriter, known to her many fans as "Mama Soul". Her biggest hit was "Just One Look", a top 10 hit in 1963. She was also one of the four female back up singers on The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd.
