Aaron Bridgers was an American jazz pianist who moved to Paris, in 1947. Bridgers was jazz composer Billy Strayhorn's lover from 1939 until Bridgers' move to France.

Sory Ersa Siregar was an Indonesian journalist working for RCTI television network who became a victim when covering the conflict in Aceh in 2003. He left a wife, Tuty Komala Bintang Hasibuan and three children, Ridhwan Siregar, Fitrah Siregar, dan Sarah Siregar.

Waly Dias Salomão was a Brazilian poet. He was born in Jequié, Bahia. He acted on several areas of Brazilian culture as poet, songwriter and writer. His first book was “Me segura qu’eu vou dar um troço” in 1972. His last book “Pescados Vivos” was published after his death in 2004. He wrote successful lyrics for Maria Bethânia, Gal Costa, Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso.

Eugenio Monti was an Italian bobsledder. He is one of the most successful athletes in the history of this sport, with ten World championship medals and 6 Olympic medals including two golds. He is known also for his acts of sportsmanship during the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, which made him the first athlete ever to receive the Pierre de Coubertin medal.
