Sir James Michael Goldsmith was a French-British financier, tycoon and politician who was a member of the prominent Goldsmith family.

Margaret, Princess of Hesse and by Rhine was the wife of Louis, Prince of Hesse and by Rhine, the last prince of the House of Hesse-Darmstadt. Born in Ireland, she became a noted art patron in her adopted homeland of Germany.

Guillermo Meza was a Mexican painter known for his oils depicting fantastic background and often distorted human figures, generally with denunciations of society. He was born to a Tlaxcalteca indigenous father of modest means, but his parents had interest in the arts, history and literature. Meza showed interest in art and music in his youth, studying painting with Santos Balmori. Later, he approached Diego Rivera to look for an apprenticeship, but instead, the painter recommended him to the prestigious Galería de Arte Mexicana, which helped him develop as an artist as well as promoted his work for twenty years. Meza won various awards for his work during his career and was also granted membership in the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana.

Emilio Azcárraga Milmo or Emilio Azcárraga Jr. was a Mexican businessman and the son of Emilio Azcárraga Vidaurreta and Laura Milmo Hickman. He was educated at Culver Military Academy, he graduated in 1948. He was married four times, to Nadine Jean, Pamela de Surmont, Adriana Abascal, Miss Mexico in 1989 and most recently to Paula Cussi. He worked in various positions in television such as owner of Univision, a twelve-station Spanish-language network in the U.S., and in the 1960s and 1970s as a controlling shareholder of Televisa, S.A. He was the owner of The National, an American daily newspaper centered on sports that was published from January 31, 1990 to June 13, 1991. He also owned major Mexican television stations and was the chairman of the U.S.-based Spanish-language TV network "Galavisión". He was also involved in publishing, video rental, and real estate ventures. He died on April 16, 1997 on board his yacht ECO outside Miami. His business passed to his son Emilio Azcárraga Jean, and daughters.

Alexander Viktorovich Solonik was a Russian gangster, known for his reputation as a notorious hitman in the Russian criminal underworld. Also known as the Macedonian, Superkiller and Valerianych, Solonik was involved in Russian Mob activity for much of the 1990s until disappearing after his second escape from prison. Solonik was found dead in Athens, Greece, in 1997.

Pilar Mercedes Miró Romero was a Spanish screenwriter and film director. She was the General Director of RTVE from 1986 to 1989. In the 1990s, she directed the television broadcasts of the weddings of the daughters of King Juan Carlos I.

Johan Allan Edwall was a Swedish actor, director, author, composer and singer, best-known outside Sweden for the small roles he played in some of Ingmar Bergman's films, such as Fanny and Alexander (1982). He found his largest audience in the Scandinavian countries for playing lovable characters in several of the film and TV adaptations of the children's stories by Astrid Lindgren. He attended Stockholm's Royal Dramatic Theatre School from 1949–1952. During his long career he appeared in over 400 works. At the 10th Guldbagge Awards in 1974, he won the award for Best Actor for his role in Emil and the Piglet.
