Larry Clinton was an American musician, best known as a trumpeter who became a prominent American bandleader and arranger.

Fred Doederlein (1906–1985) was a German film actor. He was born in Saint-Avold as Lothar Fritz Oskar Döderlein. He played leading roles in several silent films during the 1920s. He later emigrated to Canada and appeared in David Cronenberg's first feature, Shivers, as Dr Emil Hobbes, and in Scanners as Yoga Master Tautz.

Arthur Blake was an American actor and nightclub entertainer who was famous for his female impersonations; particularly those of Bette Davis, Carmen Miranda, and Eleanor Roosevelt. He performed in nightclubs in cities throughout the United States and United Kingdom in the 1940s and the 1950s. Although he achieved fame for playing women, he impersonated men as well in his act.

Larry Ward was an American actor who appeared in many films and television series. He was sometimes credited under the name Ward Gaynor.

Jean Bernard-Luc, real name Lucien Boudousse, was a 20th-century French screenwriter and dialoguist.

Abdus Sattar was a Bangladeshi statesman. A leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), he served as the President of Bangladesh from 1981 to 1982, and earlier as the vice president of Bangladesh. A jurist by profession, Sattar held numerous constitutional and political offices in British Bengal, East Pakistan and Bangladesh. He was a cabinet minister, supreme court judge, and chief election commissioner.

Mark Lothar [ló:tar] was a German composer. In May 1938 his opera Tailor Wibbel, inspired by a play by Hans Müller-Schlösser, was performed at the Berlin State Opera.
