Lilavati Munshi was an Indian politician and Gujarati essayist. She was a member of the Bombay Legislative Assembly from 1937 to 1946 and the Rajya Sabha from 1952 to 1958 as a member of the Indian National Congress. She wrote essays and sketches.

José Carmelo "Pempe" Ruiz Padilla Jr. was a Filipino actor who appeared in several dozen movies. He made his first movie in 1931.

Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Fedorovich Volchkov was a judge during the Nuremberg Trials after World War II. He was the alternate Soviet judge during the proceedings. Before taking up the practice of law he had worked in the film business.

Luo Ruiqing, formerly romanized as Lo Jui-ch'ing, was a Chinese army officer and politician, general of the People's Liberation Army. He created the People's Republic of China's security and police apparatus after the Communist victory in the civil war in his capacity as the first Minister of Public Security from 1949 to 1959, and then served as Chief of Joint Staff from 1959 to 1965, achieving military victory in the Sino-Indian War.
