Hans Albert Nielsen was a German film actor. He appeared in 136 films between 1937 and 1965.

Harry Franklin Porter was a high jumper from the United States of America. He was a member of the Irish American Athletic Club, and won gold in the High Jump in the 1908 Summer Olympics at a mark of 6'3". He graduated from Cornell University.

Julius Ferninand Skutnabb was a Finnish speed skater. A fireman by profession, he made his international debut at the World Allround Championships in 1914, but his international career was interrupted by World War I. He kept competing nationally, becoming the Finnish Allround Champion in 1914, 1916, and 1917. International activity resumed in 1922 and Skutnabb, already 32 years old, finished fifth at the World Allround Championships that year. After placing sixth at the world championships the following year, his best year came in 1924.

Ladislas Starevich was a Polish-Russian stop-motion animator notable as the author of the first puppet-animated film The Beautiful Leukanida (1912). He also used dead insects and other animals as protagonists of his films. Following the Russian Revolution, Starevich settled in France.

Lee Moon-shuen known professionally as Lee Hoi-chuen, was a Cantonese opera singer and film actor in Hong Kong. He was the father of Bruce Lee, the father-in-law of Linda Lee Cadwell, and also the paternal grandfather of Brandon Lee and Shannon Lee.

Panjabrao Shamrao Deshmukh (27 December 1898 – 10 April 1965), also known as Bhausaheb Deshmukh was a social activist and a leader to farmers in India. He was the Minister of Agriculture in the first cabinet of Jawaharlal Nehru in 1952.

Frederick Fleet was a British sailor, crewman and survivor of the sinking of the RMS Titanic after it struck an iceberg at 11.40 p.m. on 14 April 1912. Along with fellow lookout Reginald Lee, on duty aboard the Titanic when the ship struck the iceberg, it was Fleet who first sighted the iceberg, ringing the bridge to proclaim: "Iceberg, right ahead!"
