Gustaf Gründgens, born Gustav Heinrich Arnold Gründgens, was one of Germany's most famous and influential actors of the 20th century, and artistic director of theatres in Berlin, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg. His career continued unimpeded through the years of the Nazi regime; the extent to which this can be considered as deliberate collaboration with the Nazis is hotly disputed.

Alfred Hodgeman was an Australian architect and cartographer known for his involvement in the Australasian Antarctic expedition.

William Harrison Standley was an admiral in the United States Navy, who served as Chief of Naval Operations from 1933 to 1937. He also served as the U.S. ambassador to the Soviet Union from 1941 until 1943.

Alphonso Carinci was a Roman Catholic Archbishop. He served as titular Archbishop of Selucia, in Isauria, from 1945 until his death at the age of 101.
