List of Famous people who died in 1926

Enrico Toselli, Count of Montignoso, was an Italian pianist and composer. Born in Florence, he studied piano with Giovanni Sgambati and composition with Giuseppe Martucci and Reginaldo Grazzini. He embarked on a career as a concert pianist, playing in Italy, European capital cities, Alexandria and North America.

Giovanni Amendola was an Italian journalist and politician, noted as an opponent of Fascism.

Kristján Jónsson was Minister for Iceland from 14 March 1911 to 24 July 1912. He was a member of Althingi 1893 to 1905 and from 1908 to 1913.

Jules Gilliéron was a Swiss-French linguist and dialectologist. From 1883 until his death, he taught dialectology at the École pratique des hautes études in Paris. In 1887, he co-founded the Revue des patois gallo-romans, which was published until 1893. His most notable work was the monumental Atlas Linguistique de la France, published between 1902 and 1910.

Olga Constantinovna of Russia was Queen of the Hellenes as the wife of King George I. She was briefly the regent of Greece in 1920.
