Pietro Palazzini was an Italian Cardinal, who helped to save the lives of Jewish people in World War II. He was consecrated bishop by the pope in 1962 and was elevated to the cardinalate in 1973. He has been commemorated by Yad Vashem.

Peter Lerche was a German jurist. Between 1964 and 1996 he held a chair for constitutional law at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. His research interests also included media law.

Dina Dreyfus, also known as Dina Levi-Strauss, was a French ethnologist, anthropologist, sociologist, and philosopher, who conducted cultural research in South America. She studied philosophy at the Sorbonne in Paris and had also became an agrégé. She taught at the University of São Paulo in Brazil and later founded the first ethnological society in the country.
