Dr. Lo Kwee-seong, CBE, JP was a Hong Kong businessman, investor and philanthropist. He was the founder of the Vitasoy, a well-known soymilk drink company in Hong Kong. He was also an unofficial member of the Urban Council and the Legislative Council of Hong Kong and the chairman of the Hong Kong Consumer Council.

Risei Kano was one of the three sons of Kanō Jigorō, the creator of Judo. Risei Kanō was the second president of the International Judo Federation, from 1952 to 1965. He managed the Kōdōkan from 1946 until 1980.

Amar Rouaï was a former Algerian international football player and manager. From 1958 to 1962, he was a member of the FLN football team.

Egil Danielsen was a Norwegian javelin thrower. He competed at the 1956 and 1960 Olympics and won the gold medal in 1956. Danielsen, who used an old-type wooden javelin, did poorly in the 1956 final, which was led by his Polish friend Janusz Sidło. Trying to help Danielsen, Sidło lent him his modern steel javelin, and Michel Macquet gave him a cup of strong coffee. Danielsen set a new world record at 85.71 m and won the gold medal. He could never reproduce that throw. For his Olympic victory and world record Danielsen was selected Norwegian Sportsperson of the Year in 1956.

Barbara Fei, also known as Barbara Fei Ming-yi, was a Hong Kong soprano opera singer. She was founder of a choral group, Allegro Singers, which performed for over 50 years.
