Sven Holm was a Danish author and playwright. Holm graduated from Herlufsholm School in 1958. His first short story collection, Den store fjende, was published in 1961. In 1974, Holm was awarded the Grand Prize of the Danish Academy. He was awarded the Holberg Medal in 1991. In 2001, Holm was made a member of the Danish Academy. That same year, he was awarded the Danish Critics Prize for Literature for his short story collection Kanten af himlen.

Hugo Alfaro was a Uruguayan journalist, intellectual and film critic. In his youth he contributed to the famous weekly newspaper Marcha. Later, in 1985, he was the main founder of the newspaper Brecha.

Lenke Rothman-Arnér was a Swedish artist, painter, and writer. Her works were exhibited at the Malmö Konsthall in 1989, the Göteborgs Konsthall in 1990, the Gothenburg Museum of Art in 1995, the Dunker Culture House in 2008, and the Sörmland Museum in 2018. Her works are a part of the collections of the Museum of Modern Art today.

Alessandrina "Sandra" Mondaini was an Italian film actress and television host. She appeared in 30 films between 1953 and 2008.

Lê Duẩn was a Vietnamese communist politician. He rose in the party hierarchy in the late 1950s and became General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (VCP) at the 3rd National Congress in 1960. He continued Hồ Chí Minh's policy of ruling through collective leadership. From the mid-1960s until his own death in 1986, he was the top decision-maker in Vietnam.
