Richard Reid Fliehr, better known by his ring name Reid Flair, was an American professional wrestler. He was the youngest son of retired professional wrestler Ric Flair, younger half-brother of wrestler David Flair.

Brad Barron Renfro was an American actor. Renfro made his film debut at the age of 11 with a starring role in The Client (1994), and went on to appear in 21 feature films.

Vasily Ivanovich Ignatenko was a Soviet firefighter and first responder to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant disaster. Ignatenko was raised on a collective farm near Gomel in the Belorussian SSR, and worked for a time as an electrician. He became a firefighter in 1980 as part of his service in the Soviet Military, and was employed as a paramilitary firefighter afterwards. On April 26th, 1986, Ignatenko's fire brigade was involved in mitigating the immediate aftermath of the Chernobyl Disaster, fighting the fires that were caused by the initial explosion. In the process, Ignatenko received a high dose of radiation and died in a Moscow radiological hospital eighteen days later.

Nawaf Muhammed Salim al-Hazmi was a Saudi Arabian terrorist. He was one of five hijackers of American Airlines Flight 77, which they crashed into the Pentagon as part of the September 11 attacks in the United States.

Chandra Ann Levy was an intern at the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Washington, D.C., who disappeared in May 2001. She was presumed murdered after her skeletal remains were found in Rock Creek Park in May 2002. The case attracted attention from the American news media for several years.

Raymond Lee Washington was an American gangster, known as the founder of the Crips gang in Los Angeles. Washington formed the Crips as a minor street gang in the late 1960s in Los Angeles' South Central area, becoming a prominent local crime boss. In 1971, Washington formed an alliance with Stanley "Tookie" Williams, establishing the Crips as the first major African-American street gang in Los Angeles, and served as one of the co-leaders. In 1974, Washington was convicted of robbery and received a five-year prison sentence, during which his leadership and influence in the Crips declined.

Pauline Lafont was a French actress. She was the daughter of film star Bernadette Lafont and Diourka Medveczky, a Hungarian sculptor.
