Luc Beyer
Luc Charles Henri Beyer de Ryke was a Belgian journalist and politician. He succeeded Jean Rey as a member of the European Parliament in 1980 and served until 1989. He died in Paris of a ruptured aorta on 18 January 2018, aged 84.
Juan Antonio Ramírez Sunyer
Juan Antonio Ramírez Sunyer was a Spanish judge and engineer. After passing through the courts of Terrassa, Sant Boi de Llobregat and Badalona, since 2003 he was in charge of the Court of Instruction number 13 of Barcelona. He issued controversial orders of provisional detention against the squatting movement and anti-establishment groups.
Michel Samaha
Michel Fuad Samaha is a former minister of information and minister of tourism in Lebanon, and a longtime politician and intelligence operative. Samaha is known for his long and close relationship with the Syrian government, and was one of several Lebanese officials sanctioned by the United States in 2007 for allegedly "contributing to political and economic instability in Lebanon." In December 2012 Samaha was listed by the United States as a global terrorist under section 1(b) of Executive Order 13224. Arrested and imprisoned in August, 2012, Samaha was convicted in May 2015 of transporting explosives into Lebanon and sentenced to four and a half years in jail. He was released on bail in January 2016. Samaha was sentenced again to 13 years with hard labour in April 2016 for attempting to carry out terrorist acts.

Rudolph Nissen
Rudolph Nissen was a surgeon who chaired surgery departments in Turkey, the United States and Switzerland. The Nissen fundoplication, a surgical procedure for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, is named after him. Nissen completed the first pneumonectomy by a Western physician in 1931. In 1948, he performed an abdominal surgery that extended the life of Albert Einstein by several years. He trained under German physicians Ludwig Aschoff and Ferdinand Sauerbruch. Nissen wrote an autobiography published at Deutsche Verlags-Anstalt in 1969 called “Helle Blätter, dunkle Blätter. Erinnerungen eines Chirurgen.“ (ISBN 978-3421014993) which was reviewed in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons. A selection of his writings and lectures was published at Schattauer in 1997 under the title of “Fünfzig Jahre erlebter Chirurgie: Ausgewählte Vorträge und Schriften.“ (ISBN 978-3794506156).

Saulo Jorge Fernandes Navarro de Oliveira is a Brazilian Axé singer. Before becoming the lead singer of Banda Eva in March 2002, Saulo was the lead singer of the Banda Chica Fé. In 2013 he left Banda Eva to pursue a solo career.
