Abdul Hadi bin Awang is a Malaysian politician who has been 7th President of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), an Islamic political party in Malaysia, since July 2002. He was the Menteri Besar of Terengganu from 1999 to 2004, and the state assemblyman for Ru Rendang. He is currently the Member of Parliament (MP) for Marang, both in Terengganu. At the international level, he has been appointed as Vice-President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars.

Raymond Tam is an Australian badminton player and is currently top of the Badminton Australia men's doubles rankings. Tam was born in Hong Kong, and immigrated to Australia with his father when he was 3 years old. He competed for Australia at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Tam was educated at Newington College (1995–2004) and lives in Sydney. He was the champion at the Oceania Badminton Championships in 2012 in the mixed doubles event, and in 2014 in the men's doubles event.

Sylvester Gilbert was a United States Representative from Connecticut. He was born in Hebron, Connecticut. He pursued classical studies and was graduated from Dartmouth College in 1775. Later, he studied law, was admitted to the bar in November 1777, and commenced practice in Hebron.
