Lewis Wolpert was a South African-born British developmental biologist, author, and broadcaster. Wolpert was best known for his French flag model of embryonic development, where he used the French flag as a visual aid to explain how embryonic cells interpret genetic code for expressing characteristics of living organisms and explaining how signalling between cells early in morphogenesis could be used to inform cells with the same genetic regulatory network of their position and role.

Dagmar Burešová was a Czech lawyer and politician. She specialised in labour law and her defence of Libuše Palachová, the mother of Jan Palach, was featured in the 2013 miniseries Burning Bush. As a politician, Burešová served as the first Minister of Justice of Czechoslovakia, after the Velvet Revolution. She was the chair of the Czech National Council from 1990 to 1992.

Thomas Graham, 1st Baron Lynedoch was a Scottish aristocrat, politician and British Army officer. After his education at Oxford, he inherited a substantial estate in Scotland, married and settled down to a quiet career as a landowning gentleman. However, with the death of his wife, when he was aged 42, he immersed himself in a military career, during the French Revolutionary Wars and the Napoleonic Wars.

His mother, Maria-Elisabeth Schaeffler, owns the other 20%. Both inherited their fortune from Schaeffler's father, Georg Schaeffler, who died in 1996. Schaeffler is the head of the supervisory board of Schaeffler Group and a member of the supervisory board of Continental AG. As of March 2020, Schaeffler was ranked by 'Forbes' as the 96th richest person in the world, with a net worth of $11.2 billion.
