Captain Noel Godfrey Chavasse, was a British medical doctor, Olympic athlete, and British Army officer from the Chavasse family. He is one of only three people to be awarded a Victoria Cross twice.

Hamdy Ahmed Mohamed Khalifa was an Egyptian actor. He is known for his role as Mahjoub Abdel Dayem in the film Cairo 30 (1966). Ahmed was a parliamentary representative for the district of Bulaq at the time of the forcible relocation of the population of that quarter to public housing in the az-Zawiya al-Hamra district in the periphery of Cairo. He was a member of the Labour Party of Egypt, but left it in 1984. Since 1998 Ahmed has been a columnist for the newspaper Elosboa (الأسبوع).

Samuel Phillips Savage was an American novelist and poet, best known for his 2006 novel Firmin: Adventures of a Metropolitan Lowlife. Other published works are The Cry of the Sloth, The Criminal Life of Effie O, and Glass.

Anthony Neoh, QC, SC, JP is Chief Adviser to the China Securities Regulatory Commission. He is also a member of the corporate boards of Bank of China, China Life, and formerly on the board of China Shenhua. Trained as a lawyer, he is a leading Chinese expert on monetary policy, economics and other financial regulatory issues. Neoh was appointed as Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute as Honorary Fellow in 2008.

Louis Ferdinand Victor Eduard Adalbert Michael Hubertus, Prince of Prussia was a member of the princely House of Hohenzollern, and the pretender for over half a century to the abolished German throne. He was also noteworthy as a businessman and patron of the arts.

Elizabeth Hawley was an American journalist, author, and chronicler of Himalayan mountaineering expeditions. Hawley's The Himalayan Database became the unofficial record for climbs in the Nepalese Himalaya. She was also the honorary consul in Nepal for New Zealand.

Sir Ronald Harwood, was a South African-born British author, playwright, and screenwriter, best known for his plays for the British stage as well as the screenplays for The Dresser and The Pianist, for which he won the 2003 Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. He was nominated for the Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar for The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2007).

Michel Armand Guy Pagliaro is a Canadian rock singer, songwriter and guitarist from Montreal, Quebec. Pagliaro was nominated for a 1975 Juno Award as male vocalist of the year. Although he writes and records predominantly in French, Pagliaro has released material in English.

Mohammad al-Mass'ari is an exiled Saudi physicist and political dissident who gained asylum in the United Kingdom in 1994. He runs the Committee for the Defense of Legitimate Rights (CDLR) and is an adviser to the Islamic Human Rights Commission. In the mid-2000s, he was employed as a lecturer by the physics department of King's College London.
