Tomás Séamus Cardinal Ó Fiaich KGCHS was an Irish prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as the Catholic Primate of All Ireland and Archbishop of Armagh from 1977 until his death. He was created a Cardinal in 1979. He was born in 1923 in Cullyhanna, and raised in Camlough, County Armagh.

Waleed Ali is a Kuwaiti footballer who played as midfielder for the Kuwait Premier League club Al Kuwait.

Osman Alkaş is a Cypriot-Turkish actor. He is one of the founders of Nicosia Municipal Theater and he is still active in this theater. He was involved in the production of Torba, a popular program among the Turkish Cypriot people, and was featured in the film Gölgeler ve Suretler and the TV series Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki. He then acted in the films Uzun Hikaye, Hükümet Kadın 2, Sarmaşık, etc. His performance was particularly praised for his role in the film Sarmaşık.

Giuseppe Buratti was an Italian road cyclist. He most notably won the mountains classification at the 1955 Vuelta a España.
