Benjamin Platt Carpenter was an American lawyer and politician from New York and Montana. He was Governor of the Montana Territory from 1884 to 1885.

Lord Anthony Crichton-Stuart is a British art historian, and former head of old master paintings at Christie's in New York, where he worked from 1991 until 2006. He is now an independent art dealer in New York, specialising in Old Master Paintings. He, and his wife Alison, have three children; Flora Grace, Eliza Rose and Arthur Alec. He is the younger son of John Crichton-Stuart, 6th Marquess of Bute; as such, he is styled as a lord. He is also the heir presumptive to the 8th Marquess.

Dewan Bahadur Sir Alladi Krishnaswamy Iyer was an Indian lawyer and member of the Constituent Assembly of India, which was responsible for framing the Constitution of India. He also served as the Advocate General of Madras State from 1929 to 1944. Noted neuroscientist Vilayanur S. Ramachandran is the grandson of Alladi Krishnaswamy Iyer.

John McElroy was a Jesuit priest who founded Catholic schools in the United States. After emigrating to the United States in 1803, McElroy enrolled in Georgetown University in 1806, the same year in which he joined the Society of Jesus as a lay brother. His brother Anthony also became a Jesuit. McElroy assumed the management of Georgetown's financial affairs. He was ordained a priest in 1817. In 1822 he was sent to Frederick, Maryland, where he was to remain for 23 years as pastor of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in downtown Frederick. It was in Frederick that he founded St. John's Literary Institution. During the Mexican–American War, McElroy served as an Army chaplain, and on his return from Mexico he went to Boston, where he established Boston College and Boston College High School.

Albert "Al" Cosad White was an American diver who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics. He competed collegiately for Stanford University, and was also the captain of Stanford's gymnastics team, which won the Pacific Coast Conference championship in 1921.

John Stepan Zamecnik was an American composer and conductor. He is best known for the "photoplay music" he composed for use during silent films by pianists, organists, and orchestras.
