Caroline Bynum
Caroline Walker Bynum, FBA is a Medieval scholar from the United States. She is a University Professor emerita at Columbia University and Professor emerita of Western Medieval History at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey. She was the first woman to be appointed University Professor at Columbia. She is former Dean of Columbia's School of General Studies, served as President of the American Historical Association in 1996, and President of the Medieval Academy of America in 1997–1998.

José Manuel Youshimatz is a retired track cyclist and road bicycle racer from Mexico, who represented his national country at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. There he won the bronze medal in the men's points race behind Belgium's Roger Ilegems and West Germany's Uwe Messerschmidt. He competed in three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1984.

Svetlana Zilberman is an Israeli badminton player. In 1986, she won bronze medal at the European Badminton Championships in women's singles event. She also won the Israeli National Badminton Championships 17 times in the women's singles and doubles event, and 21 times in the mixed doubles event.
Aurel Stodola
Aurel Boleslav Stodola was a Slovak engineer, physicist, and inventor. He was a pioneer in the area of technical thermodynamics and its applications and published his book Die Dampfturbine in 1903. In addition to the thermodynamic issues involved in turbine design the book discussed aspects of fluid flow, vibration, stress analysis of plates, shells and rotating discs and stress concentrations at holes and fillets. Stodola was a professor of mechanical engineering at the Swiss Polytechnical Institute in Zurich. He maintained friendly contact with Albert Einstein. In 1892, Stodola founded the Laboratory for Energy Conversion.
