Anna Petrovna Ostroumova-Lebedeva was a Russian and Soviet artist most notable for her watercolor painting. She was also one of the pioneers of the woodcut technique in Russia.

Lieutenant-General Sir Thomas D’Oyly Snow, was a British Army officer who fought on the Western Front during the First World War. He played an important role in the war, leading the 4th Division in the retreat of August 1914, and commanding VII Corps at the unsuccessful Gommecourt diversion on the first day on the Somme and at the Battle of Cambrai in November 1917.

Miklós Radnóti was a Hungarian poet and teacher.

Hind, also spelled Hend, is a female singer from Bahrain. Her work includes popular Arabic music as well as traditional Khaliji music. She was discovered by the musician Anwar Abdullah, and gave her the nickname "Hind", but her real name is Suhair. Hind's debut album Rabeie El Galb was released in 2000, after which she became well recognized in Bahrain and the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. It was only after she signed her 2005 album Al Ghroob with Rotana, that she became recognized and famous around the Arabian Gulf region.
