Charles Frédéric Girard was a French biologist specializing in ichthyology and herpetology.
Eugeniusz Baziak
Eugeniusz Baziak was Archbishop of Lviv and apostolic administrator of Kraków. Baziak was rector of the Clerical Seminarium in Lviv. Since 1933 he was an auxiliary bishop and, since 1944, Archbishop of Lviv. In 1951, after the death of Cardinal Adam Stefan Sapieha, he became the apostolic administrator of the archdiocese in Kraków.
Germ de Jong
Germ de Jong was a Dutch painter. De Jong studied art at Quellinus, a school for the poor. In 1918 de Jong’s gets his first solo-exhibition, all his works are sold in ten days. When de Jong’s also won the Willink van Collen award for young artists his reputation was made. De Jong moved to Paris, where he became acquainted to Picasso, Mondriaan, Jos Crion, Conrad Kickert and Simon Carmiggelt. Among de Jong’s paintings were many colourful still lifes, focusing mostly on colourful depictions of flowers. His work was included in the 1939 exhibition and sale Onze Kunst van Heden at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

Franco Faccio
Francesco (Franco) Antonio Faccio was an Italian composer and conductor. Born in Verona, he studied music at the Milan Conservatory from 1855 where he was a pupil of Stefano Ronchetti-Monteviti and, as scholar William Ashbrook notes, "where he struck up a lifelong friendship with Arrigo Boito, two years his junior" and with whom he was to collaborate in many ways.
