After seven seasons with the Hawks, he was traded to the Utah Jazz. He spent two seasons with the Jazz before joining the Hornets in 2014. In February 2020 he joined the Bucks after spending 5½ seasons with the Hornets. He retired following the end of the 2019–20 NBA season.
