Penn's career included work at Vogue magazine, and independent advertising work for clients including Issey Miyake and Clinique. His work has been exhibited internationally and continues to inform the art of photography.

Nelson Doubleday was a U.S. book publisher and president of Doubleday Company from 1922–1946. His father Frank N. Doubleday had founded the business. His son Nelson Doubleday, Jr. followed him into it, taking part in expansion and serving as president from 1978–1986.

Grete Faremo is a former Norwegian politician, lawyer and business leader.
